Cultivating Community

We had so much fun teaming up with Brookfield Properties Stonestown Galleria team to create 𝘚𝘛𝘌𝘔 𝘪𝘯 𝘈𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 with Lowell High School’s Robotics Club — CardinalBotics (Team 4159). It was the first of two 𝘊𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 events, where we get to celebrate and support students’ creativity.

The CardinalBotics team was excellent—engaging, passionate, and eager to share their cutting-edge work with visitors of all ages. The hands-on robot-building stations drew crowds, and watching community members experience robotics firsthand was inspiring.

Team 4159 brought it home in 2024, when they earned the prestigious 𝘙𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘈𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 and had team member Bryan Cooley named as a 𝘞𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘪𝘦 𝘍𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵 at the Sacramento Regional, The Blue Alliance—recognitions that celebrate both technical excellence and positive impact on their STEM community.

When you focus on your neighborhood and build real, face-to-face relationships with the community — especially by showcasing student talent and STEM in action — it’s always a win.
