Cultivating Community
We had so much fun teaming up with Brookfield Properties Stonestown Galleria team to create ๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐ฏ ๐๐ค๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ with Lowell High Schoolโs Robotics Club โ CardinalBotics (Team 4159). It was the first of two ๐๐ถ๐ญ๐ต๐ช๐ท๐ข๐ต๐ฆ ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ช๐ต๐บ events, where we get to celebrate and support studentsโ creativity.
The CardinalBotics team was excellentโengaging, passionate, and eager to share their cutting-edge work with visitors of all ages. The hands-on robot-building stations drew crowds, and watching community members experience robotics firsthand was inspiring.
Team 4159 brought it home in 2024, when they earned the prestigious ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ฏ๐ด๐ฑ๐ช๐ณ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐๐ธ๐ข๐ณ๐ฅ and had team member Bryan Cooley named as a ๐๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฆ ๐๐ญ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด ๐๐ช๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ช๐ด๐ต at the Sacramento Regional, The Blue Allianceโrecognitions that celebrate both technical excellence and positive impact on their STEM community.
When you focus on your neighborhood and build real, face-to-face relationships with the community โ especially by showcasing student talent and STEM in action โ itโs always a win.
Mark your calendars: Join us on October 4th for the second Cultivate Community event featuring Dance on Display with San Francisco High School of the Arts students. West Side, we’ll see you there!
