Authority Magazine’s Everyday Leaders Feature

For years, I’ve been the person spotlighting others while staying comfortably in the shadows. But sometimes growth means stepping into the light yourself.

When an opportunity arose to be featured in Authority Magazine‘s series on Everyday Leaders, my instinct was a swift “nope.” Then I remembered my promise to myself: this is the year of bold moves and comfort zone expansion.

In nearly every role, I’ve naturally gravitated toward guiding teams and shaping initiatives, drawn by a connection to people and relationship-building. This natural inclination toward bringing others together has defined my approach long before I recognized it as leadership.

The interview process became an unexpected journey of self-discovery. Looking back at my path revealed patterns I’d never noticed and highlighted the constellation of mentors and colleagues who’ve shaped me through their honesty and wisdom.

This isn’t just my story—it’s a collective narrative shaped by countless interactions with an extraordinary community of peers and guides. As I share these reflections, I’m reminded that sometimes the most powerful leadership move is simply showing up as yourself.

Here’s to all of us venturing beyond our comfort zones, finding our voices, and lifting each other up along the way.
