Hello Alamo Drafthouse

When was the last time you were excited to see a movie?

I love movies—but I don’t get to the theater often. That may change now that Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is open at The Village at San Antonio Center in Mountain View.

Brookfield Properties, the team behind The Village, focuses on creating places where community thrives—and Alamo is a perfect fit. This is Alamo’s first South Bay location, bringing 10 screens, 1,100 reclining seats, and freshly made meals delivered right to your seat.

But what really sets them apart—and makes them such a strong addition to The Village—is their commitment to experience. From curated pre-shows with no ads, to indie and repertory films, themed menus, trivia nights, and their signature no-texting, no-talking policies, Alamo builds a sense of connection that goes beyond the screen.

This opening also marks a broader regional investment. With this location and their upcoming theater at Valley Fair, Alamo is adding over 300 new jobs to the South Bay.

We’re excited to see how Alamo Drafthouse adds to the energy, vibrancy, and community spirit of this destination.
