A New Night

When an incredible group you’re part of launches a new way to connect, what do you do? You say yes.

Last night, I stepped outside my comfort zone—a new outfit, a slightly different hairstyle, and an adventure to an Omakase restaurant in the Richmond district to meet a brand-new friend and fellow Project 1490 member, Mary Hope McQuiston. We dove into great conversation, tried various dishes (mackerel and monkfish liver? No thanks. Yuzu Granita? Absolutely yes!), and embraced the spirit of New Night—saying yes to new experiences and connections.

Pushing your boundaries doesn’t always mean something extreme; sometimes, it’s as simple as showing up in a new way.
